DustWing

Have you ever heard the saying “a workman is only as good as their tools”?

You know all about the mess with sanding: dust everywhere, covering furniture and floors—and even making the air unsafe to breathe.

Some sanders have vacuum attachments that claim to help stop the mess, but they’re expensive and frequently offer disappointing results.

But now there’s DustWing—a revolutionary new product that promises to give you all the benefits of a powerful dust collector without any drawbacks.

History of DustWing

When Mark Arsenault was remodeling his home, he dreaded finishing drywall with joint compound because of the mess it would make. He purchased a $250 orbital drywall sander for this purpose, but it worked poorly, and he only used it for a half hour.

Mark decided to build a vacuum nozzle attachment to fit a vibrating sander. He hooked it up to the same Shop-Vac and was amazed at how well it worked. Mark was able to finish all the walls in one weekend. He never had to cover the furniture or wear a mask.

This is how DustWing was born.

Features of DustWing

DustWing is a new vacuum nozzle adapter that makes it easy to clean up after your sander.

It’s simple to install: just connect the DustWing to your vacuum hose and your sander’s dust bag port. Then, when you’re done sanding, just connect the DustWing to your vacuum again, and the DustWing will suck up all the dust and debris around your sander.

The DustWing has two special “wings” that fit around the exterior of your sander, capturing much of the dust before it can escape. Then they direct it through an opening in the middle of the DustWing where it exits through an outlet port into your vacuum. It’s like having an extra pair of hands.

Benefits of DustWing

DustWing is a new product that connects directly to any vacuum model and keeps hazardous dust from escaping into the air around you. This means you can keep your workspace clean without worrying about creating a health hazard for yourself and others.

In addition, DustWing works better than conventional capture bags because it filters the air before it leaves the vacuum—so you don’t have to worry about contaminants making their way back into your workspace.

Lastly, it may reduce the need for respirators by reducing airborne dust levels.
